Things you need to know
On December 1, 2023, the Real Estate Council of Ontario (RECO) introduced the Trust in Real Estate Services Act, 2002 (TRESA) which replaced the Real Estate and Business Brokers Act, 2002 (REBBA). In accordance with TRESA, it is essential that all consumers receive the RECO Information Guide BEFORE a real estate agent can provide any services, advice or assistance to you, including showing a property.
A consumer in a real estate transaction can either be a Client or they can be a Self Represented Party. Please review this guide and let me know if you have any questions.
